Kansas City Half
I ran the K.C. half last week because like I had said before my body seemed to be rejecting torture and i was under-prepared for the full marathon. Ran it in 2:42. Ouch slow but with the wind at my face I felt like i did my best and i'm sure I'll get more speedy with time. Next big run perhaps trail ?

Ah !
Woke up too late to run this morning . My marathon training has slowed down a bit do to my job . Six days a week for the last few weeks, 38 hours a week. Pretty rough for a part timer. I really need to know how people with full time jobs do it ?? It's okay though after work today is a long tempo run. I'm gonna run 10 if my legs aren't too sore . ( I really need to build up to be less wimpy ) Im a marathon runner for goodness sakes... And run I shall

KC Marathon
On October 16th I will be running the KC marathon my goal time is under 4:45 . (But we will see) I feel slightly under prepared for this race. My body seems to be rejecting all of the torture and there are times in the day when I will sleep for serveral hours to just try to get up the energy for a small tempo run . ( It could be from the Arkansas heat ) all last week it was 100 degrees where I live or it could be my new job that is keeping me worn out either way, I have to figure something out. I don't I get too far in my training and not be prepared. Well ... Now going for a 10 mile hill run ! Later blog~ pray for me ! Xoxo Katie

In training for Kansas !!
Monday is training day one for the Waddle Reed Kansas city Marathon ! Check back for Updates on my progresss ! My goal for this race is a sub 4 marathon that will be the fastest I have ever ran a marathon in .

My First 5k
So I'm running my first 5k on April 24th and I'm strangely nervous because i have never ran a 5k. Endurance is my strong suite. Hmm... Hopefully, I don't look like a fool.
